Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. Her career began in the 1980s and came to prominence with her performance in Tezaab, a film in which she appeared alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on screen was Dil with Aamir. When she was a kid she began developing her skills at a young age. Early in her life, as she began acting as a young actress, most films she produced were not successful. Then she found her feet and was one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. After her marriage, she took a hiatus from her acting career. Later, she returned. She was a key character as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, India's fourth highest civil honor. Also, she has earned a name for social activism.
